how to get rid of caterpillars on kale, cabbage worm removal
I’m lucky, I don’t have too many kale plants because this tip is useless if you grow tons and tons of kale. I’m also lucky that I’m using a kind of square foot gardening adaptation. Because I have different plants standing next to each other or around each other, it’s more difficult for the cabbage butterfly to find my kale plants or brassicas for that matter.
The plants that do get attacked are cleaned by taking away the attacked leaves with the caterpillars on them and the chickens love both the brassica leaves and the caterpillars as a top dressing.
