This is the Easiest and Fastest Way to Grow Tomato Seedlings
It’s time to stop throwing out overripe tomatoes because it turns out they may just be gardeners’ new best friend. One tomato can yield 50 new seedlings in just a few weeks with just a pot and some dirt, according to The Wannabe Homesteader.
First, you cut a tomato into quarter inch slices. Then, simply toss the slices into a pot of soil and cover them with a thin layer of dirt. All that is left to do is occasionally water your pot and leave the rest up to mother nature! The seeds should begin to germinate within just a few days and may sprout into up to 60 seedlings in as little as two weeks.
Talk about low-stress gardening! Once the tomato plants begin to grow larger, you can move the seedlings into separate pots.
