2011 garden – Warren County NC – squash, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, beans, eggplant, zucchini, carrots, onions, garlic. Some raised beds, composted soil, black drip hose irrigation, shredded hardwood mulch. Tomatoes were from seeds, three varieties, Ferry-morse grape, High Mowing organic Brandywine heirloom, High Mowing organic Matt’s Wild Cherry, all with the same problems. Green leaves, curling up, moist soil, no discoloring, roots look ok, stem tested negative for bacteria(put in water – milky substance comes out it’s positive), checked stems and branches and no bugs inside boring holes.
